I mentioned in a previous post that I wanted to refinish this ugly office chair:
So I did! It looks so much better now! I am not going to go into the details on how, since I did it and didn’t take any photos, but mostly because there are lots of other sources that tell you how to do this stuff and I’m not much better at explaining it. So, here’s my pretty chair!!

I saw a necklace for moms to wear while their baby was teething on the blog Away We Go via Pinterest. I emailed one of my aunties with a plethora of supplies and she brought me a baggie of wooden beads and a strip of fabric which I sewed into a tube and knotted beads into.
Robin does not like to chew on it and would prefer that I not wear it, since it rubs against his head when he burrows into my neck. Oh well!
With some consulting with my father, I decided to finish my sewing-cupboard-hack by cutting a curved piece out of the new front of the cupboard and reattaching it with hinges. I didn’t take much time to try to grind out room for the hinges to be flush with the wood – I just didn’t have the right tools and my Helper Baby was very unhappy I was running the hand drill.
